Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital

Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital was established in 1970 as a 50-bed facility and expanded to 500 beds by 1987. The casualty department initially operated during the day, but since April 1998, it has provided round-the-clock emergency care. In 2008, the hospital commissioned a new trauma block, increasing its capacity to 640 beds and enhancing its emergency services with upgraded facilities and wards.

The hospital plays a vital role in delivering specialized healthcare services to the residents of West Delhi. It also serves as a training center for undergraduate and postgraduate medical students, along with paramedical staff.
