Indira Gandhi Hospital

Indira Gandhi Hospital, located in Sector-9, Dwarka, Delhi, is planned as a 1725-bedded teaching hospital and medical college, designed to strengthen advanced healthcare services and medical education in the region. The hospital aims to provide comprehensive, affordable, and quality healthcare while nurturing the next generation of medical professionals. It is being developed in two phases to gradually enhance its capacity and range of services to meet the growing healthcare needs of the community.

Currently, the hospital is operational as a 1241-bedded multi-specialty teaching hospital, offering advanced diagnostic, treatment, and surgical care across various specialties. It caters to a large population, ensuring access to quality healthcare while providing practical training to medical students and healthcare professionals. The hospital is equipped with modern infrastructure and advanced medical facilities to manage patient care efficiently, ensuring prompt and compassionate treatment for all.

In the second phase, the hospital will expand further with the addition of a 484-bedded MCH (Maternal and Child Health) block and a medical college with an annual intake of 150 MBBS students. It will also offer various postgraduate programs, including MD, MS, DNB, DM, MCH, and diploma courses, contributing to the development of skilled healthcare professionals. This expansion will transform Indira Gandhi Hospital into a premier centre for both healthcare delivery and medical education in Delhi.
