Letrozole 2.5 mg Tablets are primarily used to treat hormone receptor-positive breast cancer in postmenopausal women. As an aromatase inhibitor, Letrozole blocks estrogen production, slowing cancer cell growth. It is also prescribed off-label for ovulation induction in women with infertility, especially those with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). This medication should be taken exactly as prescribed. Side effects may include hot flashes, fatigue, and joint pain. Regular monitoring and follow-up with your doctor are important.
