Vaccine Overview
Influenza Vaccine (Human, Live Attenuated) I.P. Seasonal, Quadrivalent (Liquid) Intranasal
This intranasal vaccine provides seasonal protection against four influenza virus strains—two influenza A and two influenza B types. As a live attenuated vaccine, it stimulates mucosal and systemic immunity by mimicking natural infection without causing disease. Recommended for healthy children and adults aged 2–49 years (excluding pregnant women and immunocompromised individuals), it is administered annually before flu season. Its non-injectable form makes it more acceptable for children and needle-averse populations, offering convenient and effective influenza prevention.
