The Diphtheria and Tetanus Vaccine (Adsorbed) I.P. is an inactivated, toxoid-based vaccine that provides protection against diphtheria and tetanus. It is typically administered as a booster dose to children at 5–6 years, adolescents, and adults every 10 years, and to pregnant women to prevent neonatal tetanus. The recommended dose is 0.5 ml, given intramuscularly, usually in the deltoid muscle of the upper arm.
