The Government Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS), Greater Noida, established on 15th February 2016, has been at the forefront of advancing healthcare delivery in western Uttar Pradesh. With a mission to provide equitable access to quality healthcare for both rural and urban populations, GIMS has rapidly grown into a trusted institution. Guided by a vision to combine state-of-the-art facilities with compassionate care, the institute continues to strengthen its role as a premier center for medical education, healthcare, and research.

The remarkable progress of GIMS has been possible under the leadership of Shri (Dr.) Anup Chandra Pandey, Chief Secretary, Government of Uttar Pradesh, and Dr. Rajneesh Dube, Principal Secretary Medical Education. Their support, along with the dedication of our expert faculty and staff from renowned institutions, has shaped GIMS into a hub of excellence. Equipped with advanced laboratories, a modern Skill Lab, and comprehensive medical facilities across all specialties, the hospital stands as a beacon of hope for districts like Gautam Buddha Nagar, Hapur, Bulandshahr, Khurja, Jewar, and Mathura.

Today, GIMS serves approximately 1500–2000 patients daily in OPD and admits over 200 patients regularly, reflecting the community’s growing trust. With world-class infrastructure and a patient-centered approach, GIMS remains committed to providing holistic healthcare, fostering medical education, and contributing to cutting-edge research for the betterment of society.
