Scheme Description

The Rajasthan Government Health Scheme (RGHS) is a comprehensive health insurance initiative designed to provide cashless medical facilities to specific categories of beneficiaries, including serving and retired state government employees, pensioners, family pensioners, ministers, members and ex-members of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, and All India Services officers.

Under RGHS, beneficiaries can avail themselves of a wide range of medical services, including outpatient department (OPD) consultations, hospitalization, day-care procedures, maternity and child health services, and diagnostic tests. The scheme operates on a cashless basis, meaning that eligible individuals do not need to pay upfront for covered medical services; instead, the costs are directly settled by the government with empaneled hospitals and pharmacies.

The scheme is fully automated and IT-enabled, allowing beneficiaries to manage their accounts, access electronic medical records, and track claims through the RGHS portal. Additionally, beneficiaries can print their own RGHS e-cards and make changes to their family details using their Single Sign-On (SSO) login.
